Sirid is high enough to craft:

Stat gem:  28 pts
Resist gem: 17%
Hits gem: 76 pts
Power gem: 17 pts
Focus gem: 50 pts        
Skill gem: 10 pts  
All melee weapon skills gem: 1
All magic skills gem: 1
All foucus gem: 50
  

She can maximum overcharge safely 5,5 imbuepoints.

I will update this post when Sirid gets higher level in Spellcrafting.

Example:

-Say you want to SC a level 32 glove that is quality 98

Then you run the Spellcraft Calculator and fill out the stats you want, for example like this:

Item Qualilty: 98                Item Level: 32            Imbue Points: 17/15

             Amount,        Effect,                      Qualit y

Gem 1:   7,              Strength,                   99%                
Gem 2:   5,              Body Resist,               99%    
Gem 3:   4,              Hits,                          99%    
Gem 4:   3,              Hammer,                    99%          

These gloves are now overcharged 2 imbue points (17/15). (2 points more than the items capacity of 15 points)

*Remeber to always use all 4 gems, empty spots will count as quality 94% gems so the overcharge will be greatly increased :S

Ok.. I'll check the quality when I combine the gems. Since I need to use quality 100% gems to overcharge 4,5 imbue points. (Not sure if I'll succeed even then)

Done, All went well, nothing blowed up    even tho leggings and jerkin was overcharged 4,5 imbue points since they are lvl 26 not 27 (had to craft qua 100% gems tho  
And btw the boots was qua 98  :smile:

think that you can safely do 5.5 points oc if 99q gems even at 700 odd. the % to succeed given by mythic are rubbish.

i did 6-7 pieces all with 5.5 @ 750 or so and it worked fine <img src='style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/001_smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='001_smile.gif' />

personal opinion: would never do OC on BG stuff. Takes 4-5 times the time and is to me just not worth it. at least not if the armor itself is 97-98q. The SC costs more than the armor in that case i think.

Use 99q admantium stuff instead, 16 imbue points available should be enuff <img src='style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/order.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='order.gif' />

Oh, I'll test that. I've used this to help me know how much I can OC. Never really tested much myself.  :smile:

To OC the armour was cheap since the gems I had to craft was very gray and easy to get quality 99 + the material is cheap. Our guild AC made the armour, and cant make adamantium  :smile:

Just managed to overcharge gloves with 5,5 imbue points when I used 3 quality 99% gems and 1 quality 100% gem. Did it on first try, would prolly succeed with only quality 99% gems aswell
